Today is a hard day for me the last couple of years. It is a day that we remember our mothers and all they have sacrificed for us and all that they have done for us. I had the best Mom ever. She was kind, and compassionate. She served others with out the thought of herself. And she was deeply religious and had such a strong conviction of God and His son. She was such an example to me. She passed away almost three years ago now from a very fast growing melanoma cancer. She only lived for four months after being diagnosed. But I am so grateful to have even four months to try and pay her back for all that she did.

So for today’s share it Sunday, I thought I would post a little about My mom and share a layout I did of her with my latest kit called “Mother”. She loved blue and green and so I thought this color scheme would be fitting a kit for her.

How time flies that Tuesday has already come around here again.  Time to show off Laurie’s latest new goodie!  First, her inspiration comes from what we all will be celebrating on Sunday – Mom.  Yep, it’s that time of year to show our gratitude to our moms for doing so much.  I also love the color scheme (which was inspired by Laurie’s mom) of peach, red, blue and green works really well.  So check out Mother.
