Gallery Standout

I just love browsing galleries and seeing Laurie’s kits being used. It is so much fun to see the different way people use the kits. Some have pictures that are perfect for the kit while others don’t, but they make the page fabulous anyways. This week I picked a themed layout. I just love the way she has the one large photo with the terrific clustering around it. Here is “Sesame Street Friends” by shaz515.

She used Come and Play by Laurie’s Scraps.

We would love to see the layouts you create with Laurie’s fabulous kits as well. So be sure to post them in Laurie’s gallery. Your layout might just be the next layout picked.

Share it Sunday!

Good Sunday everyone! I’m here for another fun edition of Share It Sunday. I love the opportunity to do this because I get to look through the galleries here and see all of the amazing layouts made with Laurie’s designs. The only tricky thing is finding just one to highlight. But, I did it and here it is!

This layout is so much fun! It’s by mistical725. It stood out to me because of the large photo. I think making a big photo can be tricky but she pulled it off, especially with the cute picture of her cat! I loved the title work and the two additional photos that added more to the story telling. Sometimes it’s fun to tell the story without using words. The layout is linked to the gallery so be sure to leave her some love!

If you loved the kit she used, it’s Laurie’s “Little Stinker” kit . Here’s a peek at it (it’s linked as well). Happy scrapping!

Share It Sunday!

Hey everyone! I’m Jen, aka redutedaisy, and I’m excited to be sharing some great eye candy from Laurie’s gallery today. I really loved this layout by Cupcake Jamie called “You Bowl Me Over”. I love the fun paper stacking and the clustering with all of the elements. The picture is so fun and I really like how the elements tie together with the fun of the picture. It also shows how versatile Laurie’s kits are! She used a swimming picture with a bowling kit-so creative and fun! The image is linked so you can leave her some love.

And if you’re in need of a fun kit for bowling or for scrapping some crazy/exciting pictures of your kids (and we all have those!), here is Laurie’s kit, “Let’s Roll”!

Gallery Spotlight

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone has had a restful weekend. The heat is definately on the rise and there is not a better way to escape the summer  heat than a dip in the pool. The layout I have chosen for the Gallery Spotlight is using Laurie’s Pool Side kit. I just love the way the title is created with the water splashing everywhere.

The layout is linked to the layout in Laurie’s Gotta Pixel gallery. Head over and leave some love. While you are there leave a layout of your own. Your layout may just be the next layout spotlighted on Laurie’s blog.

Here is a closer look at Pool Side. It can be found at Laurie’s Store or Gotta Pixel.

Sharing Sunday

Today is a hard day for me the last couple of years. It is a day that we remember our mothers and all they have sacrificed for us and all that they have done for us. I had the best Mom ever. She was kind, and compassionate. She served others with out the thought of herself. And she was deeply religious and had such a strong conviction of God and His son. She was such an example to me. She passed away almost three years ago now from a very fast growing melanoma cancer. She only lived for four months after being diagnosed. But I am so grateful to have even four months to try and pay her back for all that she did.

So for today’s share it Sunday, I thought I would post a little about My mom and share a layout I did of her with my latest kit called “Mother”. She loved blue and green and so I thought this color scheme would be fitting a kit for her.

Product Flashback

Hello digi world! Martina aka majula here with a product flashback this Sunday.  My family and I love to travel to Denmark. And we love the Danish kitchen. Especially the desserts impressed us. Therefore, I would like to create my own little recipe book with the specialties of the Danish kitchen.
Laurie’s Kit “Whatcha Got Cookin’ ?” is just perfect for my project. Here is the first page I created with this beautiful kit.

Now take a look at the full kit. It is as perfect to create a page for recipes or to make a layout with  pictures of the baking or cooking.

You can find this kit at both of Laurie’s Stores.

Share It Sunday- Product Flashback!

Hello! Kristin here to bring you a product flashback on this Share it Sunday. As my daughter gets a little older my husband and I have considered getting her a fish. With that said, Laurie’s kit Fishy Friends immediately came to mind. This kit is perfect for the fish you have in your home, a trip to the pet store or an adventure to an aquarium.

Some time ago we were in a store and my daughter saw the fish. She was captivated by them and we had to spend some time looking at the different kinds. Here is the page I created of that trip.

You can pick up Fishy Friends at Laurie’s Store or Gotta Pixel.

Share it Sunday – Product Flashback!

Hello! Kristin here to bring you a product flashback on this Share it Sunday. As summer winds down and kids start heading back to school I thought Laurie’s kit, The World is Playground, would be perfect. I’m sure you have tons of pictures of the kiddos playing outside that you just haven’t gotten a chance to scrap in the hectic summer. This kit will help you get those memories down.

You can purchase it at Laurie’s Scraps or Gotta Pixel.

For a little inspiration here is a layout I created using this kit.
